European University evacuated after bomb threat
Nicosia’s European University of Cyprus has been evacuated on Thursday, after police received a message of an explosive device on campus.
Bomb squad officials arrived on the scene along with special dogs to investigate the threat they received.
Speaking to Radio Proto, the rector of the university Costas Gouliamos, said that the buildings had been evacuated, and that staff and students have all been moved to the athletic buildings.
