Migration minister discusses refugee issue with Turkish envoy

Alternate Minister for Migration Policy Yiannis Mouzalas discussed the refugee issue with Turkish Ambassador to Greece, Kerim Uras, in a meeting in Athens on Monday.

During the meeting, the two officials focused on finding mutually beneficial solutions for managing refugee flows, with Mouzalas reiterating the government’s position that the initial control and management must take place in Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon, which is also the EU’s view.
