US’s Kerry expected to visit Athens on December 4
US Secretary of State John Kerry is expected in Athens on December 4, it was announced on Friday.
Kerry will stop over in Greece on his way back from a visit to Jordan. He may also try to visit Cyprus, diplomatic sources said.
Energy matters, the Cyprus issue and Greece’s request for debt relief are expected to be among the items on the agenda when Kerry arrives.
The US diplomat was initially expected in Athens this weekend but he will be attending a conference on Syria in Vienna instead.
