Greek import price index down 12.6 pct in Sept
Greece’s import price composite index in the industrial sector dropped 12.6 pct in September compared with the same month last year, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Friday.
The statistics service, in a report, attributed this development in the so-called imported inflation to a 0.9 pct decline in the import price index from Eurozone countries and a 21.8 pct drop in the index from countries outside Eurozone.
The composite index fell 0.8 pct in September from August, after an 1.1 pct decline recorded in the same period last year.
