Panousis to appear before Parliamentary Ethics Committee

The Parliamentary Ethics Committee has summoned the former Minister of Public Order Yannis Panousis to appear on at noon on Wednesday the 18th of November, in order to address the serious allegations regarding threats against his life.

The committee’s unanimous decision to summon Mr. Panousis came at the request of New Democracy MP Yannis Tragakis and PASOK MP Evangelos Venizelos.

Aside from Mr. Panousis, the committee has also summoned the head of the national intelligence agency (EYP) Yannis Roumpatis to address the serious allegations regarding ties between SYRIZA officers and terrorism.
