The Eurogroup recognized explicitly the progress made in the implementation of the Greek program and confirmed the positive climate of the previous days, government sources said after the end of the meeting of Eurozone’s finance ministers on Monday.

The same sources said that the 2-billion-euro loan installment is ready to be disbursed in the coming days, along with the 10 billion euros for the recapitalization of the country’s banks.

Pending issues are expected to close in the next few days in Athens during the negotiations with the representatives of the institutions and will be approved in an emergency meeting of the Eurogroup Working Group (EWG) by the start of next week, the sources added.

They also said that those who claimed in the last few days that Greece’s continuing insistence on its positions could jeopardize the successful completion of the negotiation were disproved.
