Students call parents and teachers to Monday protest

Students from all over Greece have decided to carry out demonstrations on Monday in order to highlight the need for funding and teacher placements. In Athens a student rally will take place at the Propylaea at noon, following a concert with student bands and artists at 10:00.

Meanwhile teacher federation OLME has called for its members to support and participate in the student demonstrations on Monday. AS such, the federation has announced a work stoppage between 11:00 and 14:00.

The board of the parent federation of Attica has called its associations and unions to support of the student demonstrations on Monday.
