Two Students and Their Teacher Parade on Greek Island

With Greeks commemorating the annual anniversary of the resistance to the Nazi occupation on Wednesday, three people on the Greek island of Arkioi, located in the North Aegean Sea, partook in one of the smallest such ceremonies.

According to greekreporter, the island has a permanent population of around 50 people and the elementary school has only two students. These two students carried out the student parade alongside their teacher.

Various student and military parades took place throughout Greece on Wednesday in honor of the October 28 anniversary, which commemorates the commencement of the Greek resistance to the Nazi occupation.
