Greek National Paralympic Team bags three medals in Qatar

The  has bagged three medals in the 2015 ICP Athletics World Championships that are taking place in Doha, Qatar.

Manolis Stefanoudakis received the gold medal in the F54 javelin throw event (28.45m), while Dimitris Senikidis received the silver medal in the F20 shot put event and Dimitris Zisidis the bronze in the F32 shot put event.

Greek athletes were distinguished in other events, with Stella Smaragdi coming fifth in the T47 long jump (with a performance of 5.32m, thus breaking the Greek record), while Valasia Kyrgiovanaki came fifth in the F20 shot put event (11.87m).

Additionally Christos Kapellas came in seventh n the F44 long jump (6.39m) and Konstantin Veltsi came in 14 in the F44 long jump event (5.24m).
